Since I can remember, I’ve had a love affair with cars.  Special cars.  Not run of the mill autos produced for the masses but those rare beauties that are crafted of steel, wood and leather by artisans who know how to bring their creations to life.  If you have ever caressed the curves of a Ferrari and felt that Italian heart beating just under the surface, then you know how a seemingly inanimate object can make your hair stand on end.

A few years ago, my business partner Darren and I had the good fortune of getting involved with a company that brought the exotic car club concept to the United States. As with any new industry, ideas emerge to more effectively serve the needs of clients and make things better, simpler and more enjoyable.

Our goal is simple: Provide an environment where individuals can access a private portfolio of the world's finest cars without the complications and high cost of traditional ownership. We pride ourselves in providing the most comprehensive service to our members which has helped us grow into community of enthusiasts with a passion for unique experiences. About a decade ago, Damon Hill, a retired Formula One race car World Champion from England thought it would be fun to create a club for automobile aficionados where people could gain shared access to a private collection of the world’s finest cars without a significant financial commitment.

Why not? The shared use concept was pioneered by Warren Buffet in 1986 with Net Jets© offering fractional jet ownership. In 2002, Steve Case of AOL expanded the concept to luxury vacation homes with Exclusive Resorts©. The success of these businesses is a testament to the benefits of fractional use. We have Mr. Hill to thank for adding the automotive component to this exciting industry.  The first exotic car share club opened in the United States in 2004.
